Switzerland offers around 900 museums of all kinds. On a six-day trip to Switzerland with Renée Huard, art historian and museologist, 18 museums were visited and over a thousand images were taken. Captured in black-and-white and colour, using a 35 mm camera and a small digital camera, the images present many details of artworks and moments of traveling. They are juxtaposed intuitively, looking for contrasts and similarities. The photographic essay was commissioned by the Société des Musées québécois in collaboration with Association des Musées suisses, on the theme: the Museum as Landscape.
